On this weeks episode we have Mike from PA. Mike has been chasing giant public land deer for many years and was finally able to catch up with one. Mike's story is another situation where persistence pays. When you put your mind to something and continue to grind, eventually good things will happen. It was a pleasure to have Mike on to tell his story. 

EP50 - The Story of Trump. ”A 155 6/8” Public Land Pa Buck

We made 50 episodes!! How you might ask? We have no idea, but its all thanks to every single one of our listeners. Shoutout to all of you guys! Also, a very big shoutout to all the guests who have been on and helped us put out amazing stories over the past year. We figured we would celebrate this episode by telling the story of a deer that consumed all our lives for several years. The ups and downs were endless on this deer and we were fortunate that Antonio was able to harvest him. Thanks again - Craving Wild. 

EP49 - ”Like Father, Like Son” w/Phil and Reid Yetter

On this weeks episode we have our good buddy Phil back on. Phil had a great year this year and was able to seal the deal on a beautiful 130" Pennsylvania whitetail. Phil has consistently been able to put himself in front of mature whitetails and we always learn something while chatting with him. We also have a special guest appearance with his son Reid. Reid laid the hammer down on an absolute stud buck and tells his story on the show!! You'll have to tune in to hear both stories! 

EP48 - Chad Hodge ”Woodies in the Swamps, Shoot-outs in the mountains, and OG Waterfowl ID Tricks”

On this weeks episode we have back on the man, the myth, the waterfowl legend. Sir Chad Hodge, If you tuned into his last podcast you already know he is an absolute wealth of knowledge. This episode Chad pulls us out into the depths of his passion for hunting wood ducks. We also skim a broad range of waterfowl and upland hunting. As always we kick the door down on some controversial topics. Some so controversial we can't even mention them here without backlash. Ya'll will just have to grab your note pad and tune in. EP47 - A PA Public Land Giant Has Fallen w/Eddie Kiser

On this weeks episode our very own Eddie Kiser killed an absolute buck of a lifetime. Eddie gets the chance to accomplish something us bowhunters dream about every year. Harvesting a mature "buck of a lifetime" public land whitetail. Deer of that size are not very common in the area we call home. Good luck to everyone out there with tags left. Keep staying wild! 

EP46 - Tagged Out in PA!

This weeks episode we cover Dan's Pa buck. This was a very action packed season for Dan with many hard decisions. This specific buck story ends with an absolutely wild turn of events. We also talk Dan's Doe and Eddie's Doe. A lot of meat was put in the freezer this passed week by the Craving Wild team. Of course we end the show with a new recipe and be on the look out for more wild game recipes as the freezers continue to fill up. 

EP45 - Dry Aging Venison w/Phil Holcombe

This week we have on Phil Holcombe. Phil is great hunter and a fantastic cook. We deep dive right off the bat as Phil explains dry aging venison. We discuss Sunday hunting in PA. If you have interest in taking your wild game to the next level this is surely a good one to listen to as we discuss all aspects of butchering your own deer.
